Abstract: Natural and artificial polymers provide an immense molecular toolbox from which one can construct functional materials via self-assembly. The primary tools exploited are the conformational propensities of individual residues to adopt the desired secondary structures or shapes and the tendency of the appropriately designed secondary elements to self-associate in higher order structures. This study is referring to the self-assembly behaviour in aqueous solutions of charged/neutral amphiphillic copolymers via non-covalent cooperative bonding interactions. |
