| Abstract: Despite the fact that it seems a biological subject, the circulation of the blood proves to be interesting also for other
kind of researchers, like physicists. Due to this fact we are capable of likening/comparing the heart to a pump, the blood
vessels to a circuit and the pulse to a wave. Also we can explain phenomenoms apparently impossible, like the circulation
against the gravity or the capillary properties of the vessels. Like a pumping machine, the heart provides the power needed for
life. |
