| Abstract: In this paper we studied the polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) films with few techniques, the accent was put on
surface films analyzing. Also we evaluated the same properties when the polymer was stretching. The aim of this
study is to improve the surface properties of PVA films for most of its application, especially in biomedical field. We
obtained the PVA films, and we analyzed them energetically (contact angle measurements), and optical (refractive
index evaluation). The same properties were evaluated function of the stretching degree. The results show few
important modifications of the properties when the films were stretched. |
