| Abstract: In the present work, a magnetic fluid was prepared using magnetite nanoparticles dispersed in toluene. The magnetic particles
were prepared by the precipitation method. The mean particle size was subsequently decreased using a grinding mill for 48 h.
The resulted powder was mixed with ammonia oleate as surfactant and dispersed in a solution of carboxymethyl cellulose
solved in toluene. The size and shape of magnetic particles were determined by Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) and
the magnetic properties were investigated using a vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). |
