| Abstract: We intend to focus the interest of the students on the understanding and searching of some special substances with unusual properties, like magnetic liquids. What we need to know about magnetic liquids is that they cumulate properties of liquid state and magnetic substances. They are already known for their various applications in technical and life sciences. The students could be taught to prepare a magnetic liquid sample in the laboratory by using available materials and methods. Nevertheless some direct applications in biology could be also proposed and accomplished. |
