It is well known that, among all sensorial systems, the eye is able to provide more than 80% from the environmental information based on the light perception. Therefore the optical phenomena are one of the most interesting subject categories for the students in the frame of gymnasium classes. An attractive theme - considering also its interdisciplinary features – regards the optical illusions. In the 7th class, in the frame of the chapter „Sound and Light” one can find the topic of „optical illusion” as facultative subject. This is why it is worthy to develop the theme in the frame of science group activities – especially by using some suggestive examples based on the contrast of colored details of images as well as on the spatial geometrical representations that often lead to the illusion of movement when a fix image is carefully focused with the eyes. The images can be presented in the form of posters or may be displayed on the computer monitor. This is way it is supposed that the students interest for the enlargement of their physical knowledge is increased, they being encouraged to search for specialty literature, for the Internet opportunities of informing and also they are enabled to identify optical issues in the normal life time so that finally they could achieve their scientific understanding of the world and life.
