| Abstract: From the climate point of view, the Neamt county territory is a part of the mountain climate province in the
West and of the mountain climate province in the East.
Due to the fact that rainfall is extremely efficient in washing the atmosphere, the quality parameters are valuable
indices in evaluating the atmosphere polluting sources, and in estimating the contribution of gas pollutant emission sources
to polluting soil and the underground water. That is the reason why the Environment Protection Inspectorate in Piatra
Neamt is monitoring the rainfall quality in the Savinesti region by means of the following indices: pH, conductivity,
ammonia, nitrate, sulphate. |
