| Abstract: Polymers present a great interest, both scientifically and commercially, because of their combination of outstanding key properties. The optical properties of these materials lie at the basis of many applications, for example in chromatographic methods for enantiomeric separations or creating complex optical devices. The objective of this report is to present some aspects concerning the optical activity for some polymers, especially the dependence of the specific rotation of wavelength |
