Abstract: New tendencies in education are to stimulate creativity and to engage students in instructive - educative process of personal development [1, 2]. Taking into account of these, before starting a new school year, students from "Ion Mincu" High School College are consulting and they choose some optional courses that are fit to their educational interests. One of the most interesting optional courses that students choose was a science communication course: “Physics and New Technologies”. Our paper presents the evolution in time of students’ science knowledge taking into considerations attitude of the students related to science discoveries and related to modern and future technologies, the time spending of them in order to accumulate science information from mass media and development of their technical skills. The choosing of this course was stimulated and determinated by the relation between “Ion Mincu” High School College Vaslui and the Faculty of Physics from “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University Iasi. Students from this College are attended at the Faculty of Physics Open Days where they were informed about opportunity and technical development offered by science activities.
