Abstract: The study was dedicated to the possible effect of electromagnetic RF waves within the blood cells, previously treated
with magnetic fluid. The exposure device was a TEM cell designed aiming to get low power density waves (0.6 mW/cm 2 )
at a frequency of 418 MHz. Experimental study was carried out on the electronic absorption spectrum of different
haemolysated blood samples: S1blood
exposed to radiofrequency waves without magnetic fluid; S2 blood
treated with
magnetic fluid in the lack of electromagnetic exposure; S3 blood
treated with magnetic fluid and exposed to
radiofrequency waves. The main interpretation hypothesis was based on the possible interaction of the magnetite from the
magnetic fluid and the haem from the red blood cells. |
