Abstract: The present paper intoduces the main principles of Impedance Spectroscopy technique, as being a very important method for characterization of discrete materials (policrystalline and nanostructured systems, or with solid-solid, solid-liquid interfaces, etc.) working in real circuits and conditions. The method was applied for investigating polycrystalline ceramics of Ba1-xLaxTiO3. The inhomogeneous dielectric and conductive properties result in Cole-Cole plots with more component, each one being characterized by distinct relaxation times. |
