			| Abstract: Self-organization processes appear in systems far of thermodynamic equilibrium (physics, chemistry, biology, economy, society, etc.) when a system control parameter reaches a critical value. In ferrofluids, when the magnetic field perpendicularly applied on the liquid surface exceeds a critical value, a transition from plane surface to the hexagonal model of liquid peaks was obtained. In this paper we present experimental results on self-organized structures in ferrofluids in form of hexagons, squares, rhombuses, solitons, obtained by varying some characteristic parameters of the system. |
