| Abstract: Due to the presence in the human body of tissues with a structure different from the one of water, which is usually
used in phantoms for computing the treatment delivered dose, one must introduce corrections for the manual calculus
under isocentric conditions, which does not take into account these inhomogeneities. In this paper one uses well known
methods of calculus for the presence of inhomogeneities on a series of patients, and performs a compared study using the
dedicated treatment planning system Pinnacle produced by Philips. |
