| Abstract: Considering the transformations characteristic to the science curricula of high school it is more and more important to assure better connectivity among the classical courses in physics, chemistry and biology. In this respect we can mention the introduction of the course of Science to the humanistic profile which can be the desired ligand. But only the theoretical approach is not sufficient since as long as the practical-experimental side is not yet introduced the results can not be as good as expected. So, we have to develop the activity of scientific scholar groups both in gymnasium and high school, aiming to apply the physical principles and methods in the study of some biological liquid behavior such as the blood and blood serum, the human body exudates and transudates, the vegetal liquids etc. Experimental measurements on the physical parameters able to characterize various biological liquids can be carried out on the density, superficial tension, refractive index and viscosity coefficient by using relatively simple devices and apparatus like analytical balance, hydrometers, picnometers, refractometers or viscosimeters from the school laboratory or belonging to other laboratories such as those from medical clinics. The proposed approach has the role of interscience connection at the high school level evidencing some biomedical applications of physical science. |
