| Abstract: Complexity investigation on two types of electrocardiographic data series was carried out with the aim to evidence semi-quantitative differences between healthy subjects and stress loaded ones on the basis of chaos theory. The portrait in the state space, the correlation dimension, the auto-correlation function and the largest Lyapunov exponent were the main tests utilized for this study. Statistical analysis following Student t-test revealed both significant and non-significant modifications in the disturbed subjects in comparison to the normal ones. |
