| Abstract: Comprising about 71% of the surface of the Earth, water can be considered one of the most precious natural resource that exists on our planet. Without water, life on Earth would be non-existent. Water pollution is one of the world environmental problems which has the capabilities to disrupt life on our planet to a great extent. The paper discusses the influence of some pollutants on the properties of sea water (surface tension, specific heat capacity). |
