Titlu: Electrical discharge influence on assimilatory pigments in plants

Abstract: In this paper a study on the effect of electrical pulses on Faseolus vulgarae was carried out. For each sample (Petri dish containing 20 beans), we applied 5, 10, 15 and, respectively, 20 pulses, supplied by a laboratory device, able to generate Corona discharge pulses. After 7 days the assimilatory pigment contents were measured using acetone (85%) extract and a E-1009 Metrohm Herisau spectrocolorimeter (Meyer Bertenrath method). Stimulatory effect was noticed in the case of all three assimilatory pigment contents while inhibitory effect was obtained for the ratio chlorophyll A/B.
