| Abstract: At the present moment the ecological issue of biosphere pollution – either from electromagnetic sources or
because of magnetic particle contamination – represents not only a scientific challenge but also an educational objective.
The proposed experiment is based on the possibility of evidencing the biological effects of magnetic particles on the
vegetation being intended for the master students in Environmental Physics. The spectrophotometric assay of
photosynthetic pigments from plant green tissue grown under controlled administration of magnetic particles is the main
investigation method. The statistical significance of the data extracted from the analyzed samples will be assessed by
applying the ANOVA test. |
