Titlu: Simulating physical processes using Visual C++ programming language

Abstract: We used the Visual C++ programming language to simulate nearest neighbor interactions in a 3D Ising lattice which has not an exact solution, even in zero magnetic field. We worked with a cubic lattice in zero external magnetic field. The system can be described by a set of properties that are temperature-dependent; these are energy, magnetization, heat capacity and magnetic susceptibility. At a specific temperature called the critical temperature, the model shows characteristics of a phase transition. The phase transition in the Ising model is a transition between an ordered and a non-ordered state. In real materials, the transition creates a discontinuity in the graph, called the critical point. The Ising model shows similar discontinuities.
